You are probably right, but I did find a setting in IIS where I could tell it
not to keep connections att all. The help indicated that a specified nr of
connection can be set in another version of IIS (prob 6.0 or server version).

Hi Johan,
Turning off keep-alives will sure help you go a little bit further. But
eventually you'll hit the wall on the desktop OS. The limit is desktop OS
related - the desk top license limits you to 10 simulteneous open network
connections.
