Hi,

When I am trying to publish my Web Service using the "Publish Web Site" from
VS.NET 2005 I am receiving the error:

"Unable to open the Web 'xxxxxx'.  Forbidden"

The web server is Windows SBS 2003 Premium.
"Integrated Windows authentication" is checked on the "Directory Security"
for the IIS 6.
"Granted Access" is checked for the "IP Address and domain name restrictions".

Thanks for any help,
Asaf

Hi,

Thanks for your post!

For the current issue, I have performed the test but can not repro the
current problem.

>"Unable to open the Web 'xxxxxx'.  Forbidden"
Could you please give me a screenshot for this error? This will help me to
do some deep research.

In addition, please supply the related information of IIS log. This will
help me to narrow down the current problem. You can find the IIS log in
"windows"-"system32"-"logfiles"-"w3svx" folder.

Thanks for your understanding!

I'm looking forward your reply.

Regards,

Hi Yuan,

The problem is that DCPROMO of the Windows SBS 2003 is damaging the .NET 2.0
and IIS so I have reinstalled them and now everything is working.

Regards,
Asaf
