I have a web service that works fine without SSL and trying to enable SSL and
require client certificates. I am currently receiving a 403: Access Forbidden
error. I was receiving a 403: Access denied message until I started passing a
client certificate. I am able to open the asmx file in IE choosing the same
certificate. Any ideas on how to fix the access forbidden problem?

Thanks in advance!

If your calling application is an ASP.NET app, you might be experiencing the
following problem:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;817854&sd=tech

This will be fixed in the upcoming .NET Framework 1.1 SP1. (To be released
in September, MS says.)
