Hi Ng
I am on very thin ice, and need some help.
Scenario this:
WINDOWS 2003 Server with a small webservice checking userid and password, and some other host jobs.
This have been working well for 1 year.
Until last week this server was a member of a workgroup together with 4 other machines.
Due to some test with an SQL server, I decided to changes the server role to be a domain server.
After this the webservice failded working, but all the other app still works OK.

The webservice on the server uses anonymous access, and the client calls the by:
System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials

Any clue where to start looking , will a great help

Thx Clemens
As I am almost a newbie to Server 2003, and until now only have experience
with setting up new virtual accounts and stuff like this,
I would be extremely happy if you could tell me a little bit more precise
step by step how to set this application pool.

I solved the problem. For some reason the upgrade to a domain server,
changed the permissions in these folders:
C:\WINDOWS\TEMP and in
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET Files.
After giving ASPNET to these folders, my APP works again.
