Hi, All
I have a question for the IIS setting. After I upgraded the web server from
2000sp4 to 2003. I will need to use select the Basic Authentication and go
though https in order to register an new user to the domain controller (which
is running in Windows2000 sp4). This kind of problem only happen on the new
virtual directory which created after upgraded to 2003. For those original
virtual directories which was existed in 2000 still works fine after upgraded
(don't need to use Basic Authentication or https). Is there any one could
help me with that (maybe I need to setup any thing or provide me any idea).
Thank you very much.

Hi Nicolas,

you need to give read permissions for NETWORK SERVICE account to the folder
where your project is. Then select Anonymous method for accessing the web
server. Let us know does this helped you.

Thank you Martin.
I did setup the Anonymous method for accessing the web server and I even
used the domain administrator account for that. I feel it's strange that 2
virtual directories with same setting and same user account for Anonymous
access and also point to the same folder but one is working the other one
need to use SSL and check the Basic Authentication (the Anonymous also used).
Thanks
