hello

had a host running iis and web services, things were ok

then renamed host and problems started...
like web services not making the connection to a local database running
under the IUSR and IWAM accounts...

has anybody experienced problems like these?

Hi,

what I understood from your description abt the problem u r facing is...
some name conflicts occur since you changed the name of the host.

Goto your solution explore and expand it untill you find you webservice
reference under webreference.

Rgith click on the webservice and select update webreference.  This would
solve your problem.

If you still face the same problem... then open all the underlying files of
that webservice and manually change the paths which are targetting to yor old
host address.

cheers,

Jerome. M
