When I try to add a web reference to a secure WS, which has both
user/password/domain authentication and a certificate authentication it does
not work. I am prompted for the password again and again and again. I know I
have supplied the correct password and if I press cancel, the WS appears
correctly in the window, but the Add reference button is disabled. Is this a
known bug or do I need some more settings? I have configurered the WSE 2.0
properties in the project.

I use C# and I am trying to add a WS to a C# class project VS2003, .NET FW
1.1 with sp1, WSE 2.0sp3 and all the latest windowsupdates on Windows 2003
with sp1. English versions.

Best regards

your answer is yes then when you are prompted user password and domain for

credentials.

Thanks for the tip. but we don't have a proxy which requires authentication.
Anyone on our network can access all services on the internet without
problems or login. I have never entered any proxy credentials and I can ftp,
telnet, http, https, remote desktop etc.

Any other ideas?
