What are the benefits of using IIS to implement SOAP Messaging over
HTTP versus just using the SoapClient and SoapService classes?

Hello jeff,

e.g. SSL support, Windows Auth integration, process model (recycling, health

Thanks Dominick. Maybe you can help me understand one more thing. If I
need to implement a publish / subscribe type of system, does it still
make sense to use IIS? I can see using IIS for the subscription
requests. But I imagine the publish messages would get sent out from a
separate process as they are based on the analysis of near-real time
data. It wouldn't make sense to use IIS for this, would it?

Thanks,
Jeff
