There seems to be a lot of controversy around this.
I am by no means a cryptographer and hardly understand the lingo used, but
until the cryptographic community actually confirms this, I will not be
scared to death. (Although I will be cautious and keep looking out for
updates on this issue.)
Just my two cents,
It sure is something to watch out for, although it is still in the 2^69
region...but you know the phrase "chink in the armour" ;)
