I am trying to set up my own CA for some of our secure sites.  These sites
are only accessed by reps of our organization so no need for a cert from
verisign or the like. How can I configure the cert so it shows as trusted
rather than it showing:

the security certificate was issue by a company you have not chosen to
trust. View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the
certifying authority

and

the name on the certificate is invalid and does not match the name of the
site.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You have to be trusted from another certificate authority. You can not expect that when you install CA by your own it will get trusted by verisign. Otherwise everyone will pretend that he is CA that you should trust. The security is based on trust model.
If you want to use the certificate in production go and buy one from verisign.

HTH,
Martin
