Hi!

All this time I have been reading in the forums to use the
"makecert.exe" that comes with MS Platform SDK. I have been trying to
do that, but I was getting an error:
Error: Can't create the key of the subject ('JoeSoft')

I couldnt fix this error, and out of curiosity, I tried the
"makecert.exe" that comes with MS Visual Studio .NET and the
makcert.exe succeeded.

Is it OK, if I use the certificates created by MS VS .NET instead for
my programs? If not, can anyone please tell me how to fix the error
that I am getting with using makecert.exe of Platform SDK.

Thanks
Ipsita

There is a newer version of makecert that helped me with such error.  See if
this page (which has url for new makecert) helps.  Cheers!
