Any problems writing COM objects that call WSE2 enabled web services?

Any recommended resources?

Thanks.

Anyone?

A co-worker is trying to get a COM toolkit to call a web service that
requires messages to be signed with a Username Token.  Is this possible?

Thanks,
-Ben

Ben,

Have a look at the following info on COM interop services:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpguide/html/cp
conAdvancedCOMInterop.asp

I have created a C# proxy class with interop services which allows my
company to access a vendor's web service via COM, so I know it works, but
I don't know if this will work with your particular toolkit.

Thanks Wil! Looks like the right approach for us, too. Will have to look
in to it further to know for sure.  We already crafted up a short-term
solution that is adequate for the next few months.

Thanks again!
