I've same problem

I've the same problem. I found reply stating following:

I haven't seen mention of this in any of the documentation or HOL's but here
it is. Running Win 2k, you have to grant the ASPNET account "Act as part of
the operating system" in the local policies.

But I could not find the procdure to do this.

I am using separate machines for client and web service. Can get the
x509signing sample to work OK. WSE 2 verifies signature OK.

Accessing web method of my own web service I get the dreaded 'Cannot find
the certificate and private key for decryption' error using the same machines
as the x509 signing sample. Looking at the few differences I have been them
now. virtual directory setup, web method signatures etc. Got to be something
different causing it!
