Hi,

I ve following problem i installed WSE 3.0
WSE didnt integrate with VS 2005 ide
this is not too big problem i can use configuration tool of WSE 30

but second problem is more significant
I want to create kerberized client for same web service
I create policy file and policy for kerberos auth i follow spteps in manual.
and problem appears if i generated WSE proxy (same error is in preinstalled
samples of WSE cannot run any sample)
it didnt generate proxy class with Wse suffix and i have to use
.SetPolicy("policy name") method of proxy class but this method isnt generated

i'd please if someone could help me with that

I am having the same issue with Team Edition Developer.  Reinstalling did not
help either.

What version of VS 2005 are you using?

Reinstall exactly didn help
i install WSE when VS 2005 was launched as is writen in documentaion
use aspnet_regiis to ensure that framework 2.0 is active
i use VS 2005 ver 8.0.50727.42 RTM.050727-4200
Ms .Net framework 2.0.50727

Do u have some problems with add-in integration? i'm trying to install
add-in manualy but informations in documentaion aren't much detailed for do
this.
Exactly i dont know what dll use and what class is connection point to make
an xml for addin integration. If u have it and u post it here i'd pleased

Thanx for your help.

Hi all,

I got the WSE 3.0 web references to work by:

- Have VS 2005 open with a project that is WSE 3.0 Enabled
- Uninstall WSE 3.0 from Add/Remove programs
- Keep VS 2005 Open
- Install WSE 3.0 with the custom setting and select everything that is
available for the install
- Right click a web refereence in the existing WSE 3.0 project and click
update

My web reference class now derives from
Microsoft.Web.Services3.WebServicesClientProtocol

I hope this helps someone.
