Hi,

I use WSE 2.0 and everything works ok. But I tried to create another client
application which dos not use the UsernameToken it calls the WebService
directly. This application also works without authentication! Why? I suppose
that some king of access error should appear but it does not appear.

Thanks

Ruslan

hi Ruslan,
do you use a policyCache config file?  what's it like?
have you registered the securityTokenManager in web.config?

if you have compulsary Authentication correctly configured then your
client will get an exception.

I do not use the policyCache config file. That why the application works
without authentication. Thank you.

hi Ruslan,
what about the SecurityTokenManager setting in web.config, do you use
this?
maybe you could post the code you are using to require authenticated
connections.
thanks
tim
