I want to write a user defined function in Java, and get
this to work in SqlServer Yukon. What steps must I take
to get the java into j# to work with SqlServer? What
programs do I need to do the step, and can I do it from
the command line and not use an IDE?

Im planning for the future, hoping that I could find some
examples in J# or instructions. I am new to J#, coming
from a java background.

Yukon is currently in beta and it's technically supported at this time.
When you recieved the beta version you should have been given information
on where you can go for support, most likely in a yukon specific newsgroup.
