Excel won't start.  When clicking the icon (or any other excel files) I get
the message Microsoft Excel for Windows has encountered a problem and needs
to close (with the send error report option).

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling MS Office 2000 but still
the same.

Other office applications like Word, Powerpoint, etc are working except the
Excel.

Pls advise.

You posted your question in a group that discusses programming issues. You
will need to find an end-user group.
