What is the status and plans, if any, for

additional math library functions of this C standard?

There's no support, and no announced plans for there to be any support.
That said, put in a product suggestion at
http://lab.msdn.com/productFeedback while it's not too late for the next
(post 2005) release of Visual Studio.
