Hi! I have struggled a while after the game starts up with the messeage:
"Your FSX is not registered, try reinstalling to solve the problem", even
though it has been registered for a long time.

When I try reinstalling I go for "repair" option, and this message pops up
after the first disk has been prosessed:

Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A
program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.
Contact your support personnel or package vendor

Any tips?

As the error message says, you should contact the package vendor (i.e. the
vendor of the thing you're trying to repair).
