All,
What are your thoughts about using a learning product like AppDev's CD
tutorials to learn VB2005 / 2008?
Is it worth the money ($850 - $1,250)?

I just went through one of their "free" CDs (first learning module in the
Learning VB2005 series) it seems to be pretty good. Ken Getz is the
instructor in the video. But I'm wondering if this is the approach I should
take.
Currently, I do a lot of VBA programming in Access and I would like to
increase my skill set and move up to a full VB developing enironment w/VS.

Any advice or comments about using a product such as the one's for sale
through AppDev would be appreciated.

Take a look at www.learnvisualstudio.net.  They have over 500 videos you can
download, covering topics such as VS IDE, C#, VB, ADO.Net, SQL Server, etc,
etc.  For $50 a year you have unlimited download priviledges.  I found these
videos very helpful when I started switching from VS 6 to VS.Net.

Good Luck.
