I have a program and I need to print some reports. Once they click on
the button on the form that says print I need the reports to
automatically print. The reports are a text file. I am not sure the
best way to do this. I was thinking maybe having the button open a
Batch file that would print these text files. Is there a way to print
these text files in a file in VB.net

In my opinion, printing is one of the biggest pains I experience when
programming. Basically, what you need to do is to first create a
PrintDocument object and subscribe to it's "PrintPage" event. Instead
of writing you a sample, I'll just refer you to the msdn documentation
for the PrintDocument object which contains a printing sample:

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.drawing.printing.printdocument(V
S.80).aspx
