I have visual studio standard version 2005. I would like to upgrade to the vs
2008 Professional edition to have access to crystal reports. First, can I
upgrade from standard to pro, and if I do upgrade to pro do I lose anything
like mobile device development which is available in standard 2005.

mobile device development/smart device is still in the pro version, along
with your crystal reports.
