Hi

I already had vs.net installed with v1.0 of the framework and downloaded the dotnetfx.exe and setup.exe files.

1. I uninstalled v1.0 framework (not vs.net
2. I installed 1.1 redistributabl
3. I installed 1.1 framewor

Then I run vs.net and it still shows v1.0 installed and doesn't work properly until I reinstall v1.0 from the installation cd

Do I need to reinstall vs.net or am I doing something wrong?

VS.NET is hard-wired to use the 1.0 framework. If you want to develop
against the 1.1 framework you need VS 2003. You can have both frameworks and
both VS versions on your system at the same time. The 1.1 framework is an
upgrade but it doesn't *replace* 1.0.
