Hi,

I am using VS.Net 2003. I have created a web setup project. During the
installation, I have a Custom Action to run sql statements on SQL Server.
The problem I am facing is that if none of the sql statements cause error
upon, running, the install goes through fine. If any sql statement produces
even a warning message, the install rolls back.Is there a way to make the
install ignore the SQL erros and continue?

After building the project, I get three files, .MSI file, Setup.exe and
Setup.ini. I need to upload these files for customers to be able to download
them for install. Is there a way I can get all three files downloaded
WITHOUT using WINZIP (some of our customers do not have winzip).

Thanks

Hi

I use the free SFX Maker for this, it can create a self extracting exe
file out of a zip file, and also launch your setup.exe automatically
after the extraction:
