Platform: Windows 2003 server, .NET Deployment Kit,

Hi,

I have created .Net setup deployment package(i.e, .msi).
I am installing certain third party dlls in the \Program Files\Common Files
directory, and am registering them as well.

When the product is uninstalled, i want that the files installed in Common
Files directory should continue to exist on the client system.
Is there any special settings or properties to be configured in order to
achieve this?

Any pointers would be of great help.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Ganga

Mark the file as permanent: in the setup project - right click on the file
and choose properties.
Thanks,
Val
