Framework wont install but no error appearing

im on windows 2000 pro with SP4 and while trying to install th
framework the progress bar stops at 52 2nds remaining and says

"stopping services"

"service: issadmin"

"time remaining: 52 seconds"

i have left it at this stage for a long period of time and nothing i
happening and there is no error message.

plz help me

i have troed v 1 and 1.1 but neither seem to be working for me i wu

Hi

Please take a look at this post:

You could also check the content of the file dotNetFx.log found in
your temp folder.

Also, if you do a silent install of Dotnetfx.exe and specify the /l
option on the command line, the setup creates a setup log file,
netfx.log, in the %temp% directory where all errors are logged.
