Hello,

I had to change my profile as we joined a new domain. Now when I try to
build a setup package VS.Net installer pops up doing the install but it
errors out with the error:

Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Visual Studio .Net
Enterprise Developer - English. The Windows installer cannot continue.

I am able to build regular vb.net apps just not setup and deployment apps.
Any help would be most appreciated.

It sounds like it's just trying to re-establish some part of VS.NET because you
look like a new user. A per-machine install usually needs access to the original
MSI file when a new users uses it for the first time - HKCU entries need
creating from the msi file, for example. What happened during your first
install? Was it from a network share that's gone? A CD image that you deleted?
It just needs that original MSI that it was installed from.

Phil,

It was installed via the cd's. How can I resolve this? Do I need to
reinstall vs.net or is there a work around? Thanks.
