I have a COM component that is a ext property page in AD users and computers
snap-in.  I'm testing on different virtual machine and I'm getting error in
one of the vm installed Win2000 server sp4 but it works fine on another vm
with the same OS.  Right before the execution of the SetInfo command I'm
getting error messages of:
A constraint violation occurred.
The name reference is invalid
000020B5: AtrErr:DSID-0315167B, #1:
0:000020B5: DSID-0315167B, problem 1005(CONSTRAINT_ATT_TYPE), data 0, Att
9030e(objectCategory).

Does anyone know what I need to do to correct this?  Thank you.

Thanks.

It is hard to tell exactly what you are doing here (and not clear why you
post this here instead of in the ADSI newsgroup), but you should not be
setting the objectCategory attribute.  It is set by the system.

Thank you.  I've re-posted this question in ADSI.  It seems that I'm getting
this error just when it's running on child domain.
