I'm interested in using the microsoft fingerprint reader as a way of
identifiying the users of a new app i'm developing. Has microsoft provided
support for the fingerprint readers in their SDK? How comprehensive is it?

It looks like there is only a $1000 SDK from digitalpersona, the
actual guts behind the hardware. I just got one of these and im going
to play around with it. Is there any group out there dedicated to
figuring this thing out? Where are the fingerprint algorithms saved?
can passwords be backed up so if there's a system failure you dont
have to re-register again?
