Hi,
Not sure this question has been asked.
I have noticed .Net Framework SDK 2.0 does not contain PermView.exe. Can
someone please advise me what is the replacement in .Net 2?
Or is there a different way to examine the security requirement of an
assembly in .Net 2?
PermView in FX1.1 will have trouble examining the .Net 2 assemblies is this
correct?
I have noticed that it was listed in this collection of security tools:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/7w3fd0wb.aspx
when I clicked on the PermView link, it only mentioned that for .Net 1.1 &
1.0 but this set of tools is supposed to be for .Net framework 3.
What is going on?
Thanks.

You can use PermCalc.exe which is shipped with .NET 2
for checking permissions
permcalc -Assembly YourAssembly.dll
