Using TransferData

Hi,

I've been trying to get a SQL Server database copied within the same server
instance for several days. SMO.Transfer is the closest thing I can find right
now but the TransferData method is failing. I've been chasing down errors in
the database and correcting them as I go but currently it's attempting to
create a ROLE that already exists and failing on that. I'm not certain if I
should be ignoring this error (or how to). Is there someone that is actually
using TransferData? I also tried Backup and Restore class objects too. I got
as far as SqlRestore and it tells me that it can't becuase the files are in
use - of course they're in use, SQL server is using them. I'm finding it
difficult to find any samples that do what I want.

TIA
Mike
