Hi Guys,

It's possible that rhis is a newbie Q but I got a mind black out for the
moment.

If I want to check AD for an object and provide me with the info if the
object is a user or group object. I'm trying to make a form for adding users
and groups to DACL.

Could someone get me some samples pages to point me in the right direction?!

Regards,
JB

You can download the ADAM management tool which can be used to view the
LDAP names of the properties of Active Directory objects.  Ultimately,
there is a property called objectClass which indicates if the object is
a user, group or computer.
