Finding IP address

I want to know IP Addresses of all machines on a peer to
peer network. How can i do this ?
The network consists of Win 9x machines and there is no
DNS server.

Try pinging the broadcast address for the network. For a class C it would be
x.x.x.255. Each machine should return a reply.
