Hi.
I am trying to get the client's IP address when they connect to the
Remoting server.  I have searched for hours for examples in VB.NET.  I
even bought Ingo Rammer's book.  However, I can't seem to get working
code examples.  I know it has something to do with Sinks.  I would
greatly appreciate any VB.NET examples or articles.

Thank you all,
Chris

Hi,

In the samples\technologies\remoting\advanced\channelsinks\ipfilter
directory there is a sample that should help. On my machine with VS.NET 2003
install the complete path is

\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
2003\SDK\v1.1\Samples\Technologies\Remoting\Advanced\ChannelSinks\IPFilter

Hope this helps

Hi Thank you...
Hmmmm... I don have those directories.  I have .NET Professional
installed.  Is there a place I can download this?  Or could you
provide a link to the example zipped up?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi,

What version of the framework/VS do you have. In the case that you have
1.0/VS.NET 2002, I will confirm the path for 1.0 at the office tomorrow.

Hi.
I have version 1.0.  Thank you for the code you sent.  However, I
think it was in C or C#.  Know of any VB.NET samples?

Thanks again,
Chris
