Anyone know of some general info on the relative performance of apps based
on Web Forms vs Windows Forms?

Winforms must be faster (havent benchmarked it though) as
after all your weforms app uses a no browser app eg IE
anyway, + you have all the overheads of HTML rendering and
the associated plumbing.

think it would go faster than a car ;)
