Hello,

we have an ASP.NET 1.1 Application in this evironment:
- OS Windows Server 2003 SP1 (IIS 6.0)
- Application Center 2000 cluster (3 nodes)
- ASP.NET Session managed in a SQL Server 2000 cluster

The last week we have installed these security updates:

- Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB928255)
- Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB929969)
- Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB926436)
- Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB924667)
- Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB928843)
- Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 for Windows Server 2003
(KB928090)
- Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB918118)

After the installation of these updates now the CPU utilization
is doubled on every cluster node (80% and more), while in the previous
months was
40 / 50%.
The number of the application users and the application version is the same.
We have alreay uninstalled the updates but unfortunately the situation is
not changed.
Maybe the setup has changed something on the OS/IIS and however the rollback
has not restored a "clean" situation.
Please, are there any performance issues with these Security Updates?
Thanks!

Joe,

We have the same issue with our DFS servers since a reboot on tuesday
the 17th, where you able to resolve your problem?

regards, Henno
