Hi

I am using VB.NET

Is there any way to force a postback from jscript in asp.net??

This is the situation:

I got a treeview (Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls) fully populated,  and witha
a AutoPostback=true
I wanna set AutoPostback=false to avoid the screen flasihg (that's really
ugly) in every Expand or contract operation on the treeview

But Ineed to do postBack when the user select a node from the treeview
beacuse I need to fill a datagrid

Thnaks for any suggestion

"Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls"

this stuff is not standard.

If you want to detect user response, I am afraid you will need
to rely on good old javascript or something.

=============================================

It looks good, it looks a lot like java in 1993, it even looks a lot
like javascript currently, but is not javascript.

It looks like some Microsoft UI, that will not make it to the web.

Because the web is bigger than any single participant.

Figure Edison and Tesla.

===========

You can indulge all day long in british/us search results for

"Edison" and "alternating current" and think Tesla was a

stage hand in "that movie".

No my Friend, it is year ++ 2010++ for .NET, so Put up so shut up.

There are according to MS some 170 MIO XP installations.

Oh Boy, yahnnn , there are always that number of people on
the planet at anytime who pee or scratch their behind.
