Using XP sp2, under COM+ Applications I see the following with their balls
hanging out:

.NET utilities
COM+ Explorer
COM+ Utilities
IIS In-Process Applications
IIS Utilities

This may explain why my C# com service did not register itself.  How do I
fix these guys?

I reinstalled COM+ in accordance with Q315296 "How to Clean Up A Damaged COM+
Catalog" and it removed all the dead stuff except COM+ Explorer and COM +
Utilities which are still sick (spheroids out, that is.)

Also, something weird.  The default website no longer works after the COM+
reinstall.  The non-default sites are still fine, though.  Scary.

Following the reinstall, I find that a response.redirect in an asp page in my
default web directory is causing a buffer overflow.  According to Filemon,
that is.

Am I up the creek?
