I have seen that MS has published PIA's for Office XP (2002), anyone knows
if they (or some other company) have also published PIA's for Office 2000 ?
Or may the PIA's for Office XP also be used for Office 2000 ?

Perhaps possible to do myself (by using tlbimp and appropriate options), but
isn't that *wrong* ? Even MS doc. states that it is the publisher of the COM
server who should also publish PIA's (otherwise it would be a myriad of
PIA's for the same thing)

They haven't, and no one else can since a PIA by definition comes from
the original COM component publisher.

I wouldn't recommend it.

As long as there's no PIA, it's the best you can do.
