Hello,

I hope someone can help as after I have been searching the net for two days now to no avail.

I have deployed an asp.net application that uses a third party dll. When I run this application locally it runs without any problem however when I deploy to our web server, as soon as I try to access any methods of the dll it returns the following error:

QueryInterface for interface <object> failed
InvalidCastException: QueryInterface for interface <object> failed

I have installed the third party product in the exact same location as it is in the development environment.

Thanks for any help.

I am assuming that third party DLL is a COM object. Verify that it has been
registered properly on your web server.
