Outlook2000, Internet Mail Only version on w2k SP2.
Active Code Page 850
Used for communication in English and Russian
Mail Format --->International Options --> Encoding are set to KOI8-R

Everything works fine except in the messages listing (the right upper pane
of Outlook window)  the Subject in Russian is unreadable.
If I single-click  on such a message,  its text appears in the preview pane
(the right bottom pane of Outlook window)  and the Subject appears on the
preview pane panel and it looks OK
When I open this message, the subject also looks OK

How shal I set it to show subjects correctly in the messages listing ?

I would try microsoft.public.outlook.general for questions re: Outlook encoding and/or rendering  issues.
