We are currently creating our application only in English language.
We are now planning to adopt multilinguality in our application.
Our Front End is VB.Net
Back End is SQL Server.
OS - Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition.
Can any of you give me some guidelines regarding how to start this
procedure??
It would also be helpful if you can suggest me the pitfalls in this process
of internationalising th application..

Regards

I would start from here:
  http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/default.mspx

And Nadine Kano's book "Developing International Software For Windows 95 and
Windows NT" (free at http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/dis_v1/disv1.asp)
It is quite old, but has the fundamentals.

There is a second edition "Developing International Software, 2nd. Edition"
(http://www.microsoft.com/globaldev/getWR/DIS_v2/default.mspx), but I would
rather consider it volume 2, and still recommend Nadine Kano's book first.
