Assuming you already know HTML and CSS beginners starting to learn to
develop .NET applications from square one should start by learning the C#
programming language using a real textbook like those from Deitel and Deitel
[1] and by usng free software such as Microsoft Visual Web Developer Express
and SQL Server Express. Expect at least a year and probably up to two years
to get basic to intermediate competency noting I say that realistically so
you don't think you're a dummy and quit because it is not a piece of cake
and takes time and lots of work okay?
