Hi,

during the setup of german MSDN library VS 2006 juli (Disc 3619) the VS 2005
DVD was requested.

I inserted both VS 2005 DVD German (Disc 3185) and English (Disc 3070)
without success.

Hello Herbert,

When you install MSDN, did you install from a DVD disk or files exacted
from an ISO image? Do you have VS.NET 2005 already installed on the
computer?

Sincerely,

Luke Zhang

Hello Herbert,

Thank you for the reply. Have you installed VS.NET 2005 previously on the
same computer? When install MSDN library, it may require some files from
VS.NET 2005 and prompt the Disk for it. If we previously installed i, it
may get around the problem. (In my test, I installed MSDN library May 2006
on a server with VS.NET 2005 installed already, and it works well without
prompt to insert the disk.)

Aslo, when it prompt you insert the disk, does it want a particular file or
something else?

Sincerely,

Luke Zhang
