Hello:

In Visual Studio 6.0 there is "VisData"
to create Access database files.  (file.MDB".

Q:
Does Visual Studio 2005 have tool(s)
that create Access database files (file.MDB) ?

thank you,
dave

I stand to be corrected here but from what I've seen the only tools for
creating a database are all geared toward SQL Server. MS-Access format
databases seem to have been left out in the cold. I have the impression
Microsoft would prefer if we stopped using them.

That said, VisData was a stand alone application (visdata.exe) in the Visual
Studio folders, so there is no reason not to set it up as an external
application from VS.Net (Tools -> External tools).
