I downloaded and installed it, and it did NOT update the .NET Framework 1.1. The version and build number are still the same as before. Hi, It will not install automatically but if you run setup.exe from the DOTNETFX fodler of the XP SP2 CD (stand-alone version, not network version), some files in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 **will be** updated with newer versions. I did this on two systems with the same results. This is only the half of the truth! SP2 does not contain it, but it is on the same CD (if you have a CD of SP2) in "dotnetfx" directory.
