Is already released.
If you download the XP SP2-CD (via MSDN) then it is in the directory
"DOTNETFX".

Unfortunately, that version of Windows XP SP2 does not include the .NET
Framework 1.1 SP1.  I downloaded and installed it, and it did NOT update the
.NET Framework 1.1.  The version and build number are still the same as
before.  Those of us without the MSDN subscription will have to wait a while
longer, I guess.

You are right, could it be an updated .Net 1.0?
In the i386 directory there is a mscorlib.dll dated 7/19/2004 and it has
version 1.0.3705.6018.

Hi,

It will not install automatically but if you run setup.exe from the
DOTNETFX fodler of the XP SP2 CD (stand-alone version, not network
version), some files in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322
**will be** updated with newer versions. I did this on two systems with
the same results.

For example aspnet_wp.exe is now dated 07-15-2004 and the version number
is 1.1.4322.2032

some of us can not get MSDN downloads right now, and SP2 does not seem to
include .NET 1.1 SP1, only 1.0 SP3

Please order the SP2 CD then you will have it.

Hi Brian,

I think the link provided by the Peter Vervoorn should be the released

This is only the half of the truth!

SP2 does not contain it, but it is on the same CD (if you have a CD of SP2)
in "dotnetfx" directory.
