I developing a mobile web app using VS 2008. This is a 2-part question.

1. From what I read http://www.satter.org/2008/01/mobile-web-deve.html and
other articles, the mobile controls have been removed after asp.net 1.1. Is
this correct? I just have to develop regular aspx pages and not use the
mobile namespace either?

2. I tried to debug and see the page on the emulator but haven't been able
to. I set the Device Manager to the one I need. It opened up the emulator.
ActiveSync says I'm not connected and when I typed my localhost IP + port +
page, the emulator says can't connect. Do I need to set up the connection
setting in the emulator? To what?
Thanks

#1 is still a question.
