Download .NET Framework 3.5 - it will install itself, 3.0 and update the
earlier versions.

Jerry

I followed your instructions and downloaded the full version of dotnetfx
3.5.  This time the error message related I could not install "3.5" because
"3.0a" was not loaded.  Dotnetfx 3.0a will not load due to the error message
I previously sent.  Microsoft, "chicken or the egg" nonsense.

I tried the dotnetfx 3.0 cleanup utility.  It related thjat "3.0" was not
installed.

Please help.

Oh well, I said what I said because I had been having problems with .NET 3.0
and the install of 3.5 fixed it; no more suggestions here.

Jerry,

I am grateful you took the time.

I've just gone back to "XP" and put my "VISTA" experience behind me.  This
is minor compared to my "VISTA" adventures.
