I have just upgraded to a Dell XPS 720 which arrived with Vista Ultimate
installed. I can1t use half of my programs properly so decided to partition
the drive and put XPPro back on until Microsoft sort out all the bugs with
software.
I have a Raid 0 configuration of 1.35 TB which I roughly split into to
drives. Now comes the problem in the past I have loaded XP with third party
drivers. No problem. Dell in their wisdom do not fit a floppy drive anymore.
I have tried to load the drivers after pressing F6 with memory stick but XP
keeps saying "Place the drivers in Drive A:
Help please does anybody know a way to get this changed to a cdrom drive or
USB, or any other way it can be done. I`ve tried "slipstreaming my drivers on
to the XP disc but all I ended up with are 7 coasters!!
Any advice would be much appreciated

This has nothing to do with .NET development, but as you're here...

Purchase/borrow a USB floppy drive?

You'll have better luck in an XP group:

To find the group you need:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?guid=1080912A

Select your language from the Tree View on the left, then scroll down to
Windows. In Windows, select Windows XP and find an applicable
group there.
