You can do that. You will have to focus on the Visual Studio 2008 betas to
stick with 3.5, however. This is not a bad direction to go, but be wary of
putting betaware on your production machine(s).

didnt know about the 2008 deal, but thats not a problem i currently have it
install as well as 2005... so far pretty happy with 2008.
as for the stuff im programming im actually a system admin so i pretty much
only make stuff to make my life easier, easy enough to change if need be.
